Ingredients
2 Small ham hocks
1 (24 oz) Can sauerkraut, rinsed
1 Large potato, cubed
1 Tablespoon butter
1/2 Onion, diced
1 Tablespoon flour
2 Tablespoons cold water
Instructions
Place ham hocks in crockpot. Top with sauerkraut. Add enough water to cover meat and sauerkraut. Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours, or LOW 6 to 8 hours.
Saute onions in butter in saucepan until transparent. Stir in flour and brown. Add 2 Tablespoons cold water, stirring until thickened. Pour over ingredients in crockpot. Cover and cook on High 5-10 minutes.
