Ingredients

2 Pounds ground beef
1 Red bell pepper, diced
1 Green bell pepper, diced
1 Small onion, chopped
1 (15 oz) Can kidney beans
1 (15 oz) Can pinto beans
1 (15 oz) Can black beans
1 (14 1/2 oz) Can diced tomatoes with juice
1 (6 oz) Can tomato paste
1 (15 oz) can pumpkin puree
2 Cups beef broth
2 Tablespoons chili powder
2 Teaspoons cumin
2 Teaspoons salt
1/2 Teaspoon black pepper
1 Tablespoon dried oregano
1 Teaspoon garlic powder
2 Bay leaves

Instructions

Put ground beef in a medium sized skillet and cook and crumble until almost cooked throughout.
Add peppers and onions to skillet and continue cooking until the ground beef is tender and no longer pink; drain remaining grease.
Add the ground beef, beans, tomatoes, tomato paste, pumpkin puree, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, oregano, garlic powder and bay leaves to crockpot.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4 - 6 hours.
Remove bay leaves and adjust seasonings before serving.
