Ingredients
1 Pound dry northern beans
1 Pound extra lean ham
2 Medium onions, chopped
1/2 Green pepper, chopped
1 Cup celery, chopped
1 (16 oz) Can diced tomatoes
4 Carrots, peeled & chopped
1 (4 oz) Can green chili peppers
1 Teaspoon garlic powder
1 to 2 Quarts water
Instructions
Wash beans. Cover with water and soak overnight; drain. Pour into crockpot. Dice ham into 1" pieces. Add to beans. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover; cook on HIGH 2 hours, then on LOW for 10 to 12 hours, or until beans are tender.
