Ingredients
1 1/2 Cups all purpose flour
2 Large eggs
1/2 Teaspoon salt
Pepper, to taste (if desired)
2 to 4 Tablespoons butter, softened (not melted)
1/2 Cup whole milk
Instructions
Mix all to a slightly lumpy consistency and drop into boiling water. When they rise to the top let simmer about 5 minutes and drain. Serve as is with gravy or put into a saut� pan with some melted butter and toss until they get a little crispy, can also top them with buttered bread crumbs and brown in oven under the broiling element.
