Ingredients
24 Ounces fresh green beans (chopped to desired length)
1/2 Cup butter (1 stick)
1/4 Cup chopped onions
1/2 Cup Italian dressing (I used Wishbone)
1 Cup water
1/2 Teaspoon garlic salt
1/8 Teaspoon pepper
4 Bacon strips, crispy, save grease.
Instructions
In a small crockpot, add chopped onions, fresh greens beans, butter, Italian dressing, water, garlic salt and pepper. Lightly stir. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.
While the green beans are cooking, cook the bacon. Remove from pan and place on a plate lined with paper towels. Pour bacon grease into crock pot, stir and cook for another hour.
Crumble bacon and add to crockpot. Stir and enjoy.
