Ingredients

1 Pound ground beef
3 Cups water
1 Medium onion, chopped
3 Stalks of celery, chopped
2 Carrots, sliced
1 (14 1/2 oz) Can tomatoes
1/2 Teaspoon pepper
1 (10 oz) Package frozen mixed veggies
2 to 4 Tablespoons beef base granules
1/2 Cup butter, melted
1/2 Cup flour

Instructions

Put all ingredients except butter and flour in crockpot. Cover, cook on LOW for 8 to 12 hours or on HIGH for 4 to 6 hours. One hour before serving, turn to HIGH. Make a paste of butter and flour, stir until smooth. Pour into pot and stir until thickened.
