Ingredients

2 Cups dry split peas
2 Quarts water
2 Onions, chopped
2 Carrots, peeled & sliced
4 Slices Canadian bacon, chopped
2 Tablespoons chicken bouillon powder
3/4 Teaspoon salt
1/4 Teaspoon pepper

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in crockpot. Cover; cook on LOW 8 to 9 hours. For a creamier soup, remove half of soup when done and puree. Stir back into rest of soup.
