Ingredients
2 Pounds beef chuck roast, cubed
5 Cups water
4 Beef bouillon cubes, crumbled
1/2 Onion, chopped
1 (8 oz) Can tomato sauce
OR
1 (15 oz) Can Italian diced tomatoes with chiles
3/4 Cup uncooked pearl barley
Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
Place all ingredients in crockpot, cover and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours.
