Ingredients
6 Ounces dry black beans
8 Ounces ham, cubed
1/2 Small onion, diced
1 Tablespoon cumin, or to taste
2 Tablespoons cornstarch
1 Cup water
Green onions
Instructions
Cover black beans with water and soak overnight. Drain beans and put into crockpot, add enough water to cover beans. Add ham, onions and cumin. Mix cornstarch into water and add to crockpot and cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours. Serve soup topped with green onions for garnish.
