Ingredients
2 Strips bacon, in small pieces
1 Small potato, cubed
1 Small apple, cored, cubed
1 Pound Polish sausage, in pieces
1 1/2 Teaspoons brown sugar
3/4 Teaspoon flour
3/4 Teaspoon Caraway seeds
1 (27 ounce) Can sauerkraut
1/4 Cup water
Instructions
Fry bacon and Polish sausage until crisp; drain. Add flour to drippings and blend well. Stir in sauerkraut; mix well. Place sauerkraut mixture, bacon and sausage pieces in crockpot. Add all other ingredients; stir together thoroughly. Cover and cook on Low 7 to 9 hours or High for 3 to 4 hours.
