Ingredients

1 Pound lean ground beef
1/2 Pound ground breakfast sausage
1 Onion, chopped
2 Tablespoons butter
2 Cloves garlic, minced
1 Can sliced mushrooms
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1/2 Teaspoon nutmeg
1 (10 ounce) Package frozen spinach, thawed & squeezed dry
3 Tablespoons flour
6 Eggs, beaten
3/4 Cup milk, scalded
1/2 Cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

In a skillet, lightly brown meats and onion in butter. Drain excess fat and place meat mixture into a well-greased crockpot. Stir in garlic, mushrooms, salt, nutmeg, spinach, and flour. Beat eggs and milk together; pour over meat mixture. Stir well, cover and cook on Low for 7 to 9 hours, or until firm. Sprinkle with shredded cheese 5 minutes before serving.
