Ingredients
2 Tablespoons shortening
1 1/2 Pounds ground beef
1/2 Cup onion, chopped
1 Cup celery, diced
1 Green pepper, diced
1 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 Cup catsup
1 Clove garlic, minced
1 Teaspoon salt
3/4 Cup water
1/8 Teaspoon pepper
1/2 Teaspoon paprika
1 (6 oz) Can tomato paste
2 Tablespoons white vinegar
2 Teaspoons brown sugar
1 Teaspoon dry mustard
Instructions
Brown beef in shortening and drain well. Put all ingredients in crockpot; stir to combine. Cover and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours. Serve on toasted buns or over noodles or rice.
