Ingredients

6 eggs
1/4 cup half & half
1/4 Teaspoon salt
1/2 Teaspoon sugar
1/4 Teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 Teaspoon almond extract
6 Thick slices good quality bead or brioche
For Serving
Softened butter
Powdered sugar
Jam
Syrup or honey

Instructions

Whip all ingredients together in a medium shallow bowl. Heat a griddle pan over medium-low heat. Dip a slice of bread in the batter coating both sides for a few seconds on each side. Fry on the griddle until brown and cooked through, turning once. Repeat with remaining bread and batter. Serve with softened butter, powdered sugar, jam, syrup or honey.
