Ingredients
Pastry for 1 (9") one-crust pie, unbaked
1 Pound ground beef
1/2 Teaspoon ground oregano
1/2 Cup soda crackers, crushed
1 (8 oz) Can tomato sauce
1/4 Cup onion, chopped
1/4 Cup green pepper, chopped
3/4 Teaspoon salt
1/4 Teaspoon pepper
Cheese Topping
1 Egg beaten
1/4 Cup milk
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1/2 Teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 Cup grated Cheddar cheese
Instructions
Brown meat and drain; stir in remaining ingredients and pour into pastry shell.
Combine egg and milk. Stir in seasonings and cheese. Spread topping evenly over filling. Cover edge of pie crust with 2" to 3" strip of aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning. Remove foil the last 15 minutes of baking. Bake in 425�F oven for 30 minutes.
