Ingredients

1 Pound beef stew meat
1 Medium onion, chopped
1 Large carrot, chopped
2 Medium celery stalks, chopped
2 Garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 Teaspoons sugar
1 (14 1/2 oz) Can diced tomatoes, undrained
2 (10 1/2 oz) Cans condensed beef consomm�
1 Teaspoon dried basil leaves
3 Cups frozen cheese-filled tortellini
1 Cup frozen cut green beans

Instructions

In 4 quart crockpot, add beef, onion, carrot, celery, garlic, sugar, tomatoes and beef consomm� in order listed. Cover; cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours.
About 25 minutes before serving, stir in basil, frozen tortellini and green beans, increase heat to HIGH. Cover and cook about 25 minutes or until beans are tender.
