Ingredients
1 (16 oz) Bag dried baby lima beans
1 1/2 (32 oz) Boxes of chicken broth
1 Ham hock
Salt & pepper, to taste
1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 Teaspoon celery salt
1/2 Teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
Pour dried beans in a large bowl, add water to cover and soak overnight; in the morning, rinse & drain.
Put lima beans in a crockpot; cover with chicken broth. Add a large ham hock nestled in the center of the beans.
Add seasonings.
Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 9 hours, or until beans are soft and the mixture is thick. Add additional liquid if needed.
Remove the ham hock before serving.
