Ingredients

4 Pounds bone-in beef short ribs
1 (15 oz) Can thick & zesty tomato sauce
1 1/2 Cups water
1 Medium onion, chopped
1 (6 oz) Can tomato paste
1/3 Cup packed brown sugar
3 Tablespoons cider vinegar
3 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 Tablespoons chili powder
4 Garlic cloves, minced
2 Teaspoons ground mustard
1 1/2 Teaspoons salt

Instructions

Place ribs in a 5 or 6 quart crockpot.
In a large saucepan, combine the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes uncovered, until slightly thickened.
Pour over ribs, cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or until tender.
