Ingredients
3 Cups creamy peanut butter
1/2 Cup shortening
1 Cup plus 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
3 Eggs
1/4 Cup milk
3 Teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 Cups plus 1 1/2 teaspoons all purpose flour
1/2 Teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon ginger
3/8 Teaspoon baking soda
1/4 Teaspoon salt
1/4 Teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl cream the peanut butter, shortening and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, milk and vanilla. In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.
Roll into 1 1/2" balls. Place 3" apart on ungreased baking sheets. Flatten with a fork, forming a crisscross pattern. Bake at 350�F for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned; remove to a wire rack to cool.
