Ingredients
1 Package cocktail franks
1 Package pizza dough
1/4 Cup baking soda
1 Egg, beaten
Sea salt, to taste
Instructions
Set pizza dough on counter and bring to room temperature.
Preheat oven to 425�F and bring 5 cups of water to a light boil.
Once the pizza dough is at room temperature, (about 20 minutes), roll out and stretch on a cutting board. Using a pizza cutter cut the dough into strips. Place the cocktail frank at the bottom of a strip of pizza dough and roll it up so the dough wraps around twice, cut off any excess dough. Set on a greased baking sheet until next step.
Stir in baking soda to lightly boiling water; once dissolved, boil 4 -5 wrapped cocktail franks for roughly 25 seconds. Place boiled cocktail franks back on the greased baking sheet and lightly brush each with egg and sprinkle with sea salt.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 - 20 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.
