Ingredients

1 Pound dried split peas
7 Cups water
2 (14 1/2 oz) Cans chicken broth
1 Pound smoked sausage, cut into bite size pieces
4 chicken bouillon cubes
1 1/2 Cups carrot, chopped
1 Cup celery, chopped
1 Onion, chopped
2 Potatoes, peeled & chopped
1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 Teaspoon dried oregano
2 Bay leaves

Instructions

In a 5 quart crockpot, combine the peas, broth, water, sausage, bouillon, carrot, celery, onion, potatoes, garlic powder, oregano and bay leaves.
Cover, and cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours. Remove bay leaves before ladling into bowls.
