Ingredients
1/2 Pound dry lima beans, rinsed, sorted, & soaked overnight
1 1/2 Cups leftover ham
1 Onion, chopped
1 Teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 Teaspoon chili powder
Salt & pepper to taste
2 Cups chicken broth
Instructions
Place beans in crockpot.
Add ham and onion.
Add broth and any water needed to bring the waterline 2" above the beans.
Stir in seasonings.
Cook on HIGH for 2 hours, then turn to LOW for 4 more hours or until the beans are tender.
