Ingredients
1 (3 to 4 lb) Chuck roast, boneless
1/4 Cup apple cider vinegar
1 (8 oz) Can tomato sauce
1/4 Cup brown sugar
1 Teaspoon liquid smoke
1 Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 Teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 Teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 Teaspoon chili powder
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1/2 Teaspoon black pepper
1 Teaspoon hot sauce, optional
Instructions
Put all ingredients in a bowl and whisk together until sauce is well blended and smooth, pour over roast in crockpot.
Cook on LOW or 8 to 9 hours or on HIGH for 4 or 5 hours.
Serve as main dish with sauce drizzled over meat.
