Ingredients

3 (10 oz) Packages frozen chopped spinach
1/4 Cup margarine or butter
1/4 Cup flour
2 Green onions, chopped
1 1/2 Cups milk
1 Teaspoon salt
1/4 Teaspoon pepper
1/2 Teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 Pound American cheese, coarsely grated
Tabasco sauce
Breadcrumbs

Instructions

Cook spinach and drain. Melt butter and saut� green onions. Add flour. Slowly add milk, then salt, pepper and mustard to make cream sauce. Cook until sauce thickens.
Add cheese, then spinach and a few drops of Tabasco sauce to taste.
Pour into buttered 3-quart casserole. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and dot with butter. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.
