Ingredients

1 Pound ground beef
1/2 Pound bulk Italian sausage
1 Small onion, chopped
2 Cups small shell pasta (shells, elbow, etc)
1 (28 oz) Can tomato soup
3/4 Cup water
3 Tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
3/4 Cup small cured cottage cheese
1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 Teaspoon garlic powder
1 Cup canned tomatoes, diced, undrained
3/4 Cup roasted red peppers, diced
1 Tablespoon fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

In a soup pot brown beef and sausage with onion; drain. Cook pasta according to package directions. Add pasta to pot with all remaining ingredients, heat through, stirring occasionally. Serve with garlic bread and salad.
