Ingredients

1 Pound lean ground beef
1 Egg, beaten
1/4 Cup fine dry bread crumbs
1 Tablespoon milk
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1 (15 oz) Can diced tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) Can kidney beans
1 Cup elbow macaroni
1 Packet chili seasoning mix
2 Cups water

Instructions

Place ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, milk and salt in a bowl. Mix together thoroughly. Form mixture into 1" balls. Brown meatballs on all sides in hot vegetable oil in large saucepan; drain off any excess fat. Add tomatoes, kidney beans, macaroni and chili seasoning mix. Use measured out water to rinse tomato and bean cans. Add to saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring gently. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
