Ingredients
2 (12 oz) Cans French style green beans, drained
6 Bacon slices, cut into 1/2� pieces
1/2 Cup onion, diced
1/4 Cup all purpose flour
3 Cups chicken broth
1/8 Teaspoon black pepper
1/2 Cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350�F.
Place drained green beans in a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish sprayed with cooking oil.
In a large skillet over medium heat brown bacon and onion for 10 minutes, or until bacon is browned and onion is tender, stir in the flour until blended.
Gradually stir in the chicken broth; cook, stirring constantly until sauce is very thick. Fold in cheese.
Gently stir mixture into green beans. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
