Ingredients
2 Ripe tomatoes, diced
1/2 Cucumber, chopped
1/4 Cup green onions, minced
1/4 Cup red or green bell peppers, diced
6 Garlic cloves, minced
1/2 Teaspoon salt
2 Teaspoon fresh basil, chopped
Or
1/2 Teaspoon dried basil
1/2 Teaspoon dill weed
1/4 Teaspoon pepper
1/8 Teaspoon paprika
1 Head crisp chilled lettuce
Instructions
Combine tomatoes, cucumber, onion, bell pepper, garlic, and salt; chill for several hours. Shortly before serving, cut or tear lettuce into bit-sized pieces to measure 6 cups and turn into a salad bowl. Add the vegetables and their juice. Sprinkle with basil, dill, pepper, and paprika; toss lightly. Cover and chill 15 to 30 minutes.
