Ingredients
1 Cup sliced mushrooms
1 Tablespoon butter
1 Frozen deep dish pie shell
4 Eggs
3/4 Cup heavy whipping cream
1 Tablespoon onion, minced
Pinch ground nutmeg
4 Ounces cooked ham, diced
1/2 Teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning
1 Cup Swiss cheese, shredded
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375�F and preheat large saut� pan on medium-high for 2-3 minutes.
Rinse mushrooms and pat dry. Place butter in saut� pan and swirl to coat. Add mushrooms and saut� 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Place pie shell (in foil pan) on baking sheet and prick bottom of shell with fork. Bake 10 minutes.
Whisk together in medium mixing bowl: eggs, whipping cream, onions and nutmeg.
Add ham and steak seasoning to mushrooms and saut� 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
Spread ham mixture in bottom of pie shell. Pour egg mixture over ham and sprinkle with 3/4 cup cheese. Bake 30 minutes.
Sprinkle remaining cheese over quiche and bake additional 10 minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes. Serve.
