Ingredients

1 Pound dried split peas
4 Cups water
4 Cups chicken broth
2 Pounds ham, cut into bite size pieces
1 Onion, diced
2 Carrots, diced
2 Celery ribs, diced
1 1/2 Teaspoons dried thyme
2 Medium red potatoes, pealed & diced
Salt to taste

Instructions

Sweat onions in a little oil in pressure cooker. Add other ingredient, except salt to cooker, Make sure pot is no more than half full. Secure lid and bring to high pressure. Cook for 15 minutes at pressure then let pressure reduce naturally.
