Ingredients
2 Loaves white bread, crusts removed
2 Medium onions, chopped fine
1 Pound sausage meat
2 Tablespoons Bell's poultry seasoning
1/2 Teaspoon salt
Instructions
Let the bread stand out for a few hours to get dried out. Turn over so both sides dry out, or dry on baking racks.
Break dried bread into small pieces (smaller than 1 inch cubes).
Add enough warm water to moisten bread.
Saute onions in butter until clear and soft.
Mix onions and bread.
Add sausage meat, seasoning and salt. Mix well.
Fills a 20 pound turkey
