Ingredients
3 Tablespoons butter
3 Tablespoons flour
1 (15 oz) Can broth, Chicken, beef, vegetable or turkey
1 (10 3/4 oz) Can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 Cup water
Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
In a large saucepan over medium heat, blend the butter and flour until a golden brown roux forms. Whisk in the broth, a few tablespoons at a time, until the entire amount has been added. Reduce heat to low, add the soup and water and whisk ingredients together.
Let gravy simmer at a gentle boil, stirring gently, until it is nice and creamy. Serve over mashed potatoes.
