Ingredients

1 Pound ground beef
1/4 Cup onion, chopped
2 Cups kidney beans, drained
1/2 Cup bottled French dressing
1/2 Cup water
1 Tablespoon chili powder
4 Cups Lettuce, shredded
1/2 Cup green onions, sliced thin
8 Ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

Brown meat and drain; add onion and cook until tender. Stir in beans, French dressing, water, and chili powder. Simmer for 15 minutes. Combine lettuce and green onions. Add meat sauce and 1 1/2 cups of cheese; toss lightly. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Serve with crisp Tortillas or chips.
