Ingredients
1/2 Cup brown sugar
1 Cup cornstarch
3 Large, minced garlic cloves
3 Tablespoons fresh ginger, minced
1 Teaspoon ground red pepper
1/2 Cup cider vinegar
1 Cup soy sauce
4 Cups chicken broth
1 Cup dry sherry
1 Cup water
Instructions
Combine sugar, cornstarch, garlic, ginger and red pepper. Add vinegar and soy sauce and shake until blended. Add the broth, sherry and water. Shake before using. This may be stored for 10 days in the refrigerator and/or frozen.
