Ingredients

2 (8 oz) Packages cream cheese, softened
1 Cup sour cream
1/4 Cup milk
1 Cup chopped dried beef
4 Teaspoons green onions, minced
1 Teaspoon garlic salt
1 Tablespoon butter
1 Cup chopped pecans

Instructions

In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream and milk until smooth. Add beef, green onions and garlic salt. Stir well. In a small skillet, heat butter on medium high heat. Cook pecans stirring constantly until browned. Add cream cheese mixture to toasted pecans. Stir until heated through. Transfer mixture to a fondue pot and keep warm over very low heat. Serve with bread sticks, crackers, apples and vegetables. This is a popular Southern dip.
