Ingredients

1 Pound smoked flavored bacon
1 Pound loaf round bread such as rye, pumpernickel or sourdough
1 (8 oz) Package cream cheese
1 (16 oz) Carton sour cream
1 (4 oz) Can chopped green chiles, drain
6 Green onions, chopped

Instructions

Cook bacon until crisp, drain; crumble and set aside.
Cut top off bread to form a cover, remove bread inside loaf, leave a 1/2" shell of bread. Cut removed bread in 1" cubes and set aside.
Combine cream cheese, sour cream, chiles & green onions, stir in crumbled bacon and spoon mixture into bread and replace bread top.
Wrap bread in heavy aluminum foil and bake at 350�F for 1 1/4 hours.
Serve bread bowl with reserved bread cubes for dipping.
