Ingredients

1/2 Cup cornmeal
1/2 Cup flour
1 1/2 Teaspoons salt
1 Teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 Teaspoon pepper
1 (3 lb) Fryer chicken, cut up
1/2 Cup milk
1/3 Cup butter, melted

Instructions

On a large plate, combine cornmeal, flour, salt, oregano and pepper.
Dip fryer pieces in milk, then thoroughly coat all sides in cornmeal mixture.
Place fryer pieces in an oiled 13� x 9" baking dish, drizzle butter over top and bake for one hour at 350�F or until juices run clear when fryer pieces are pricked.
