Ingredients

20 Ounces broccoli florets
1 1/2 Cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 Small onion diced
2 Teaspoons minced garlic
1 Cup mayonnaise
1 Teaspoon salt
1 Teaspoon ground black pepper
2 Large eggs
3 1/2 Tablespoons salted butter
1 1/2 Tablespoons all purpose flour
2 1/2 Cup half & half
1 Package of Ritz crackers crushed

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350�F.
Combine the eggs, mayo, salt, pepper, and cheese in a large mixing bowl, and mix.
Add the broccoli, and garlic and set the bowl to the side.
In a medium sized saucepan, melt 1 1/2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
Now add in the onions and saut�' until the onions are translucent.
Add in the all purpose flour, and stir.
Pour the half & half into the saucepan, and cook for 5 minutes, or until it thickens.
Add the thickened sauce into the mixing bowl with the other ingredients and mix to blend well.
Lightly butter a medium sized casserole dish and pour mixture.
Dice the remaining tablespoon of butter in small pieces.
Top the casserole with the crushed crackers then top with the diced butter.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
