Ingredients

Meatballs
1 1/2 Pounds ground beef
1/4 Cup onion, finely chopped
1 Egg
1/2 Cup milk
3/4 Cup breadcrumbs
1/2 Cup uncooked white rice
1 Teaspoon garlic powder
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Sauce
1 Cup ketchup
1 Cup coca cola, NOT DIET
1 Teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Mix meatball ingredients thoroughly, being sure that rice is distributed evenly. Shape into 1 1/2" balls and place in an oblong baking pan, leaving some space between the balls to allow rice to expand.
Whisk ketchup, cola, and garlic together in a small sauce pan. When just about boiling, remove from heat and pour over meatballs. Bake entire casserole at 375�F, covered, for 1 hour, 15 minutes. Remove cover and bake another 10 to15 minutes until browned on top.
