Ingredients

1 (2 lb) Round steak
1/2 Teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 Teaspoon pepper
3 Tablespoons shortening
1 Onion, chopped
1 Tablespoon celery seed
1 Garlic clove, chopped
4 Tablespoons brown sugar
4 Tablespoons prepared mustard
3 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 (10 3/4 oz) Can tomato soup

Instructions

Sprinkle steak with salt and pepper. Melt shortening in heavy skillet; brown steak with onion, celery seed, and garlic. Add remaining ingredients; simmer, covered, for 1-1/2 hours. Check after 45 minutes; add a little water, if necessary, and stir.
