Ingredients
1 Pound extra lean ground beef
1 (1.5 oz) Package taco seasoning mix
2 Cups water
1 (8 oz) Package Kraft macaroni & cheese
1/3 Cup sour cream
1 Large tomato, chopped
1 Cup lettuce, shredded
1 Cup tortilla chips, coarsely crushed
Instructions
Brown the meat in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoning mix, water & macaroni noodles; mix lightly. Bring the mixture to a boil. Cover the skillet & simmer over medium-low heat for 7 minutes or until the macaroni noodles are tender & the liquid is almost completely absorbed.
Stir in the sour cream & the cheese sauce mix (from the macaroni dinner box) until well blended.
Top the casserole with tomato, shredded lettuce & crushed tortilla chips to serve.
