Ingredients
3/4 Cup rice
1 Teaspoon salt
1 Pound beef, cubed
1 Pound lean pork, cubed
2 Tablespoons shortening
1 Cup celery, diced
1/4 Cup green pepper, chopped
1/2 Cup onion, chopped
1 Can cream of mushroom soup
1 Can chicken noodle soup
5 Teaspoons soy sauce
Instructions
Place rice in greased 2-quart casserole. Add 2 cups boiling water and salt; set aside. Brown beef and pork slowly in hot shortening in skillet. Arrange over rice; add vegetables. Stir in soups and soy sauce. Bake at 325�F for 2 hours.
