2 Pounds Lima beans, (large, baby or green), may use frozen Limas
1 Onion, chopped fine
2 Tablespoons chicken bouillon granules
Or
4 Chicken bouillon cubes
1 Tablespoon seasoned salt or to taste
2 Teaspoons pepper or to taste
1 Can cream of chicken soup
2 Cups milk
1 Pound Velveeta cheese, cubed

Instructions

Wash beans well and put beans, ham bone (or whatever ham using), diced onion, bouillon granules or cubes, seasoned salt, pepper and cream soup into an 8 quart pot and add enough water to cover well. Put lid over pot and cook on medium heat checking often and adding water as necessary, until beans are done and still has enough water in it to cover all well (at least 3 above beans). Add milk and cheese and continue to cook until cheese thoroughly melts. May be served over rice if desired, with some good ole yeast rolls on the side.
