Ingredients

24 Large fresh jalapeno chili peppers
8 Ounces uncooked ground pork sausage
8 Ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 Pound bacon

Instructions

Cut the tops off of jalapenos. Use a potato peeler to core out seeds and veins.
Mix uncooked sausage & cheese together.
Stuff each jalapeno with sausage and cheese mixture. Wrap lengthwise with half strip of uncooked bacon. Secure with toothpick.
Barbecue with grill cover on, medium, indirect heat for about 45 minutes. When bacon is crispy, they are done.
**Ideally, cook them using a covered, kettle-type barbecue grill.
