Ingredients
3 Tablespoons butter
1/4 Cup green onion, finely chopped
1/2 Cup celery, chopped
2 Cups broccoli, finely chopped
1 Teaspoon fresh thyme
3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 Cups chicken broth
1/2 Cup half & half
Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
Melt butter in a heavy saucepan. Stir in green onion, celery and broccoli and saut� about 7 minutes. Then add thyme and flour. Pour in chicken stock and boil for 1 minute. Reduce heat to simmer until veggies are soft. Stir in half & half and heat thoroughly. Add salt and pepper to taste.
