Ingredients
1 Pound lean ground beef
1 Cup onion, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
1 (10 3/4 oz) Can cream of mushroom soup
1 (10 3/4 oz) Can cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 Cups water
3 Tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce
1/2 Cup uncooked long-grain rice
1 Cup frozen peas
1 Cup crunchy chow mein noodles
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350�F.
Cook ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is almost cooked through (it will finish cooking in the oven). Season with a little salt and pepper and add the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, water, soy sauce, rice and peas. Stir until well combined.
Pour into a greased 9" x 13" baking dish and cover tightly with foil. Bake for 30 minutes; uncover and cook 30 additional minutes (save the foil).
Remove from oven and stir in chow mein noodles, cover with foil, and continue baking for another 15 minutes.
